Upcoming Book to Movie Adaptations!

Book to movie adaptations are either the icing on the cake after you finish a series, or they are a complete flop and ruin the books for you. You never know how they may turn out, but it is still fun to wait patiently (or not so patiently!) to see your favorite book on the big screen.

If you haven’t read the following books yet, now is the time to put them on that TBR list! This is looking to be quite the star-studded year for book to movies.

October 2014
Oct 3: Gone Girl by Gilliam Flynn
Oct 17: The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks
Oct 24: Love Rosie by Cecelia Ahern & White Bird in a Blizzard by Laura Kasischke

November 2014
November 21: Mockingjay (Pt 1) by Suzanne Collins

December 2014
Dec 5: Wild by Cheryl Strayed
Dec 21: The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies by J.R.R Tolkien
Dec 25: Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand

Yay for movies! What are you looking forward to watch this fall and winter? Let me know in the comments below! 🙂

  1. I am so incredibly excited for Mockingjay to be released! I loves the third book and I thought that the second movie was a lot better then the first, so I’m hoping that the momentum continues to build :)!

    • Me too!!! It’s funny how they are breaking up Mockingjay into two parts like they did with the last Harry Potter movie (Deathly Hallows). I guess the directors thought the series was that awesome that it deserved some extra time 😉
